An Amazing Tail

Welcome to my website, my name is Linda and I have been grooming since 2005.

I decided to train in dog grooming so I could groom my own dog Holly, our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

When she was a couple of months old I started looking for a salon for her to be groomed.

She was such a timid dog, and the salons at the time all looked a bit scary.

I wanted somewhere peaceful, with no cages, long waits or noisy dogs, and the products had to be natural. 

​

I initially took a course at a local college, but I knew I wanted to take it further than just grooming my own dog, so after a lot of research I found the prestigious Look North Training Center.

After a couple of weeks there, and seeing how amazing dogs can look with the proper care; I wanted to do more.

Joanne the owner,  convinced me to enter a competition that summer, and luckily my friend Jill had a beautiful Schnauzer Tinker, that was perfect and won me a lot of awards over the coming years and taught me a lot.

​

This is when I opened my little salon, well a shower tray on legs, in the middle of the garage!

​

The salon has come a long way since then, but my ethos remains the same.

​

I feel I have created a clean, safe and friendly environment with only the best products on the market.

All dogs are seen on a one to one basis, with no cabinet drying or waiting in cages. 

They are treated as gently as possible, with minimal to no restraint in a calm stress free manner.
